The hotel is in a stunning location just next door to Bruges. Our small king room was equipped with an electric kettle and central heating. We were pleasantly surprised by Cafe the Rhododendron located 1 km away.

The hotel had such charming and cozy decor, it really made me feel at home. I especially loved the beautiful paintings and old-fashioned furniture in the common areas. As a senior woman, I also appreciated how accessible everything was. The hallways were wide enough for me to comfortably walk through with my walker, and there were plenty of handrails in the stairwells to ensure my safety.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is a more attentive staff. While the children working there were polite, they didn't seem very knowledgeable about the local area or activities suitable for older visitors.

I explored the beautiful city, visited the famous church, caught a train, and wandered around the bustling market square. Talk about location goals!
Oh, I just loved sharing a not-so-clean bathroom with everyone and the lack of soap. Such a refreshing experience!

Friendly staff who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The room I stayed in had a quaint seating area and a charming dining area. It felt like stepping into a cozy, private mini-apartment.
Steep staircase.

During our stay at Artuur, we were delighted to discover a lovely renovated room with a amazing view. We even had our own private terrace where we could enjoy the fine sight of the belfrey. The room was equipped with a refrigerator, perfect for storing some takeout meals. the location of the hotel was ideal, as we could easily explore the nearby historical city by foot. Sophie, the hostess, was friendly and helped us with recommendations for interesting places and shops to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future.
